a great day’s end

The high point:

Earlier in the day we were pretty anxious with some of the usual post-chemo symptoms arising (gut, mouth sores). But a rainy day turned good, as you can see. More news tomorrow; I’m exhausted because I had to finish a grant proposal today. The last two words: “cancer biology.” I was motivated, needless to say, but am thrilled to see it submitted. Sunshine and pool time tomorrow, we hope!

Great to hear that he’s coping well with the chemo and that he’s getting some time at home. Hope you and Erika are doing ok.
